- Field trip to Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge
- Meeting with refuge staff
- Plant surveys
- Boxed lunch

Day 3: August 1

- Field trip to Taughannock Falls and Cayuga Nature Center
- Boxed lunch
- Swimming in Cayuga Lake at Taughannock State Park
